We’re all for respecting the classics here at Alesong, and that’s why with this release we are offering a new version of a beer we first released a couple of years ago: Maestro, our bourbon-barrel aged Barleywine. by Team Alesong Cocoa Maestro is a divine dream — a heavenly sweet barleywine aged in bourbon barrels and then brought down to Earth with the natural bitterness of locally roasted cocoa nibs. Finding the harmonies of charred bourbon oak, roasty chocolate, rich malt character with gooey caramel aromas, and hints of spice, this blend is a deep Cocoa Maestro Breakfast Suit Bold flashes of cinnamon, silky notes from hand sliced vanilla beans and a robust infusion of locally roasted coffee and cocoa drape over our latest bourbon barrel-aged imperial milk stout to create a jaw-dropping tour de force among Rhino Suits.

Notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, toffee, and spice aromas lead the way, with sweet yet balanced malt flavors rounding out this decadent ale.
